The Trustees are pleased to announce that Dr Sejad Mekić has been appointed as first imam of our mosque. Dr Mekić, a British citizen of Bosnian origin, is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Exeter.
With the interior largely complete and the exterior brickwork set and pointed, our eager team is now working on the external landscape areas. York stone is being laid in the porticos and garden pathways. The garden is designed by Amina Clark, a professor at the Prince’s School of Traditional Arts.
