We are delighted to welcome Dr Majid Henning Ruse-Khan to our Board of Trustees. Majid is Reader in International Property Law at the University of Cambridge, and a fellow of King’s College. He has previously taught at universities in Germany, Malaysia and Pakistan.

The Mother and Child Room allows visitors to see and join the prayers, separated by glass doors which prevent any childish noises from reaching the main prayer hall. We are laying our feature marble floor in the atrium! Rich in sacred symbolism, this was designed by master-geometer Keith Critchlow. See his brief commentary here. The marble comes from quarries near the ancient Muslim city of Madinat Laqant in Spain, for centuries blessed with great scholars, huffaz, and lovers of God.
